James Chosen as CSC Academic All-America Team Member of the Year

The 2025-26 Academic All-America Men's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), were announced on Tuesday. The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. 

Camerin James was selected as the CSC Academic All-America Team Member of the Year. He is the first team member of the year in program history.

  • Achieved a 4.00 in business administration
  • Received NAIA All-America honors
  • Selected as an NABC All-East Region honoree
  • Named to CSC Academic All-District Team
  • Became the eighth SUN Player of the Year award winner in Keiser program history.
  • Garnered first-team all-conference honors for the first time in his career
  • Named to the Bevo Francis Award Top-50 watch list
  • Recorded six double-doubles this season
  • Finished second in the conference in scoring at 17.7 points per game on 55.3% shooting
  • Surpassed 1,000 career points on senior night against Florida Memorial
  • Also finished in the top-50 in scoring in the NAIA this season
  • Led the Seahawks in rebounding at 6.8 rebounds per game
  • Also led the team in steals this season with 48
  • Scored a season-high 30 points against Warner on November 22
  • Finished second on the team in blocks with 26 on the year
