No. 14 Keiser overcame a four-point deficit at halftime on the road at Florida Memorial, making the proper adjustments to prevail over the Lions and claim their eighth Sun Conference victory of the season.




No. 14 Keiser 39, Florida Memorial 43

• Keiser scored the games first six points and held the Lions scoreless for the opening 3:10, eventually establishing a double-digit lead, 15-4, through the first five minutes of play. Mark Gordon had seven points during that stretch, continuing his form from a record-setting 42 points the last time out against St. Thomas.
• With the Seahawks leading 19-9, Florida Memorial went on a 7-0 run to draw to within a single possession, 19-16, as the clock went past the midway point.
• The Lions took their first lead of the game during a run of nine unanswered points, as the hosts went in front 31-26 with 4:58 on the clock.
• FMU's lead grew as large as ten points, 43-33, with under two minutes to play.
• The last six points of the half went to Keiser as Gordon went to the line for three free-throws on two separate occasions, sinking all of them, getting the Seahawks right back to within four points, 43-39.

• Gordon and Malcolm Mabry combined for the first ten Keiser points of the second half but the Seahawks couldn't get any closer than two points as FMU clung to a four-point lead, 53-49, with 13:25 remaining.
• Keiser cut their deficit to a single point, 53-52, after a basket from Charles Chung and a free-throw from Chance Anderson.
• After coming close on multiple occasions, the Seahawks eventually staked claim to their first second-half lead after five straight points, capped off by a three-pointer from Marko Orlic that made it 66-65 at the 8:05 mark.  
• The lead changed hands on three occasions before Keiser started a game-altering 9-0 run, turning a one-point deficit into a 77-69 lead with just 3:48 left on the clock.
• Florida Memorial got as close as fiv,, 79-74, but the Seahawks responded with five straight points to lead 84-74 after an Orlic trifecta with 55 seconds left.
• Gordon scored KU's final four points as the Seahawks prevailed by the final score of 88-80.

• 4: Keiser's winning streak over FMU extended to four games, while Mabry and Orlic also set new season-highs with four blocks apiece.
• 9: Anderson recorded his team-leading and Sun Conference leading ninth double-double of the season, notching 10 points and corralling a team-high 12 rebounds.
• 15: Mabry went 7-of-11 from the field to contribute 15 points.
• 17: Gordon's streak of games with 20 or more points extended to 17.
• 20-17: Orlic set a new season-high with 20 points, which came on 3-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc. 17 of the 20 points came in the decisive second half.
• 23: 23 of Keiser's points came from the free-throw line, as the Seahawks were rewarded for aggressive attacks to the basket.
• 24-5: Keiser holds the 24-5 lead in the all-time series with the Lions.
• 29-9-6: Gordon's final stat line included a game-high 29 points to go along with nine rebounds and a game/season-high six assists.
