No. 22 Keiser men's basketball suffered their first defeat in Sun Conference play on the road at Southeastern. The setback was also the first loss for the Seahawks in 2020, halting a three-game winning streak.

No. 22 Keiser 38, Southeastern 35Â
- Keiser established an 11-6 lead in the early going on the strength of three connections from beyond the arc.
- The Seahawks offense was hampered by five early turnovers as Southeastern tallied ten unanswered points to grab a 16-11 lead with 13:51 on the clock.
- Keiser answered back with a 9-2 run to go back on top, 20-18 at the 11:47 mark. During the spurt, Mark Gordon scored five points with is tenth point of the game coming on a basket with a foul.
- With the game even at 22-22, Gordon broke the tie with a highlight-reel dunk off an offensive rebound at the 6:47 mark.
- After Southeastern tied the game up once again with a layup, the next three points went to the Seahawks by way of the free-throw line with Keiser leading 27-24 with 5:50 remaining.
- The lead would change hands four times before the Seahawks took a 38-35 lead into the halftime break. The final four points of the half came on a Marko Orlic post-up and Chance Anderson second chance stick back.
- The half featured seven ties and six lead changes, with Keiser holding a firm advantage in the rebounding category, 21-10, which turned into ten second chance points.
- Gordon paced KU offensively in the half with 17 points on 5-of-8 shooting, 2-of-3 from downtown, and a perfect 5-of-5 from the free-throw line.

- After two Southeastern free-throws started the scoring, Keiser rattled off five unanswered points to establish their largest lead of the game, 43-37, on a Malcolm Mabry three-pointer and Gordon lay-in.
- The Fire came right back with an 8-0 run to go back on top, 45-43 at the 15:24 mark.
- Following a Jeremy Oppenheimer layup, Gordon drove to the basket and was fouled to even the game at 47-47 on a three-point play.
- After trading layups, the Fire went on an 11-2 run to take a 60-51 edge nearing the midway point of the half.
- The Seahawks trimmed the margin to single digits, 71-62, on a Gordon dunk but SEU scored the next six points, taking their largest lead of the game, 77-62, with 2:55 to go.
- Keiser trimmed their deficit to nine on two more occasions, but suffered their first conference loss of the season, 83-74 as the Fire sank their final 15 free-throw attempts in the game.
- 10: Mabry corralled a game-high ten rebounds.
- 13-8: Anderson finished with 13 points to go along with eight rebounds..
- 14-6: Orlic produced 14 points with three triples to go along with six rebounds.
- 15-27: Gordon netted 20+ points for the 15th consecutive game, pouring in a game-high 27.
- 19-6: Despite the setback, Keiser still holds a 19-6 advantage in the all-time series with the Fire.
- 21-9: Keiser produced 21 second chance points while holding Southeastern to just nine.
- 42-30: The Seahawks were +12 in the rebounding battle, 42-30.
