How it Happened

• The Seahawks jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first, highlighted by a pair of RBI singles by Mark Gottsacker and Juan De La Cruz.
• A pair of defensive miscues by the Conquistadors in the second allowed two runs to cross the plate as Keiser now led 5-0.
• The Seahawks batted through in the third, sending 15 players to plate, scoring 12 runs on seven hits to lead 17-0. The big moment of the inning was the two-out grand slam to left-center by Encarnacion.
• Three more runs came across in the fourth, including a two-run single to left-center by Miguel Casanueva as the margin stood at 20-0.
• Florida National scored their lone run of the game in the fifth on a wild pitch before the Seahawks scored three final runs in the seventh to claim game one, 23-1.
