How it Happened
- A Crocitto double down the left field line was followed by a first-pitch single to right by Hall as the Seahawks had runners on the corners with one-out in the first.
- Juan De La Cruz then connected on an RBI single to right-center and Encarnacion followed with an RBI double to center as Keiser claimed a 2-0 advantage.
- Ave Maria got on the board in the second with a run but Keiser answered with three in the third. Back-to-back sacrifice flies from De La Cruz and VanKan moved the lead to 4-1 and an error on the second basemen allowed the fifth run to cross the plate.
- Following a second run for AMU in the third, Hall picked up an RBI off a groundout as the lead stood at 6-2.
