Big Innings
The Seahawks batted through in the second and fourth innings while scoring a combined nine runs in those frames.

How it Happened
  • FMU scored the opening run in the second with an RBI single to center but Keiser answered with four in the bottom half.
  • Reilly launched a leadoff double off the big blue wall in left and then swiped third. Gottsacker followed with an RBI single through the right-side, tying the game at one.
  • The Seahawks claimed their first lead of the series on a passed ball and Crocitto added two more runs with a single to right-center as the advantage stood at 4-1.
  • Keiser's first three batters reached in the fourth before Diaz drew a four-pitch walk to lead 5-1, and a double play made it a five-run game. Following back-to-back walks to reload the bases, a wild pitch pushed the advantage to 7-1. After a walk loaded the bases for a third time, De La Cruz brought in a pair of runs with a single through the left-side as Keiser led 9-1.
  • The Seahawks then ended the game early in the sixth with a pair of RBI singles by Gottsacker and Encarnacion as Keiser won 11-1 while evening the series at one-apiece.

How it Happened
  • Keiser jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead in the first on a sacrifice fly to center by Reilly and a two-out single to right from Gottsacker.
  • Florida Memorial pushed across a pair of runs in the second with one-out as the game was tied at two-apiece.
  • The Seahawks erupted in the fourth with nine runs, all coming with two-outs. The highlight of the inning was a two-run, inside the park home run by VanKan down the right field line as Keiser led 11-2.
  • A two-out double in the seventh brought in a Lion but KU got the run back in the eighth with a two-out RBI single to center by Nick Diaz.
