TURNING POINT
The game was well-within reach for Keiser at the halftime break, but the Blue Devils came out and scored the first three goals in the second half to widen their advantage and go on for the victory on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Seahawks struck first on a score from Johnson off the pass from Senior less than three minutes into the contest.
  • The Blue Devils went in front 2-1 with a swift response with back-to-back goals, and had the opportunity to go ahead two goals with a man-up opportunity after a Keiser penalty.
  • Keiser had other plans though and created a man-down goal, this time with Johnson dishing it off to Senior to tie it at 2-2 with 7:55 on the clock in the first quarter.
  • The first quarter took a swift turn in favor of the Blue Devils following Senior's goal, and the Blue Devils held a 6-2 lead at the conclusion of the game's first 15 minutes.
  • Kalmowitz recorded his first two markers to get the Seahawks right back into it, trailing 6-4 in the second quarter with 5:58 until the break.
  • Lawrence Tech scored the next two to go ahead once again by a four-goal margin, but Kalmowitz made it 8-5 on a man-up opportunity with 1:51 on the clock.
  • Lawrence Tech made it 9-5 with a goal with just 26 seconds remaining in the half, and the score remained that way as the teams prepared for the second half.
  • The third quarter was dictated by Lawrence Tech, as the Blue Devils continued to dominate on the faceoff and create scoring opportunities. Lawrence Tech was able to outscore Keiser 7-2 in the period, and when the dust had settled, it was 16-7 entering the fourth quarter.
  • The Blue Devils went ahead 18-7 by starting the fourth with two more goals to extend the run to five unanswered, halted by Kalmowitz's fifth and final tally. With the outcome not in doubt, the Blue Devils added one more score to account for the 19-8 victory over the No. 5 Seahawks.
