Tough Innings
The Seahawks allowed four runs in the fifth and ninth innings as the Bobcats walked off the game with a single in the ninth despite trailing by three.

How it Happened
  • The Seahawks began the game with back-to-back singles, and after a strikeout, Miguel Casanueva stole third. Hall then connected on a three-run home run to left , his second of the year, giving Keiser a 3-0 advantage.
  • Following consecutive walks, Reilly drilled a double to left, scoring Peter Crocitto from second. The final run of the inning came on an RBI fielder's choice by Juan De La Cruz as KU led 5-0.
  • St. Thomas plated a run in the bottom half of the first with a one-out RBI single to right by Chris Garabedian.
  • Tworek didn't allow another hit until the fifth when STU loaded the bases with three straight singles. The Bobcats would push across four runs to tie the game at five-apiece.
  • Reilly led off the sixth with a triple to right and De La Cruz followed with a walk. A double play allowed Reilly to cross the plate as the Seahawks reclaimed a 6-5 lead.
  • In the seventh, Mark Gottsacker led off with a single to right and moved to third on a double to left by Hall. After the next two batters were retired, Reilly laced a two-run single to left, raising the margin to 8-5.
  • After a scoreless eighth, the Bobcats walked the game off in the ninth. The first three batters reached when Delgado scored a pair with a single to left, trimming the deficit to 8-7.
  • A passed ball allowed the tying the run to cross the plate and move the winning run to second with nobody out. The Seahawks then walked the next two batters, reloading the bases, still with nobody out.
  • Erick Vargas struck out the next batter but Rivero delivered a walk off single to third as Keiser dropped game one, 9-8.
