KU HIGHLIGHTS
- The Seahawks picked up their first win of the 2019 season after knocking off No. 6 SCAD by a final of 16-7.
- Three Keiser players finished with hat-tricks including; Hunter East, Brandon Benitez, and Dylan Sharpe.
- For the second straight game, East led the team in points with seven on three goals and a game-best four assists.
- Channing Thomas scooped up a game-high seven ground balls, while Hunter Fults, Justin Stone, and Nick Billitier caused two turnovers apiece.
- Aaron Collins went 10-of-24 in the face-off circle and Marco Olortegui made 15 saves in net for his victory as a member of the Seahawks.
- Keiser won the ground ball battle 48-38 and went 25-of-27 on clear attempts.

TURNING POINT
SCAD tied the game at one-apiece when the Seahawks ran off seven consecutive goals to lead 8-1 with 5:59 to go in the first half.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Keiser tallied the opening goal for the second straight game after Cruz Waerness found the back of the net off an assist by Sharpe with 11:41 remaining in the first quarter.
- SCAD equalized the game with 5:31 to go in the opening period before John Senior scored the final two goals of the quarter to lead 3-1.
- The Seahawks ran off five unanswered goals to start the second quarter, including two by Beneitez to make it 8-1.
- The Bees went on to notch the final two goals of the half but trailed the Seahawks at the intermission, 8-3.
- Four straight goals by Keiser, including two more from East upped the margin to 12-3 with 6:54 left in the third quarter.
- The teams then traded goals before Ryan Johnson scored with just four seconds showing on the clock to lead by the largest margin of the game, 15-5.
- SCAD scored the opening two goals of the final period before Benitez capped the scoring at the 3:40 mark with Keiser coming out on top in their home opener, 16-7.
