How it Happened
- The Seahawks had runners on the corners with one-away in the third when Gottsacker drilled a shot into the left-center gap, scoring both runners to take a 2-0 lead. Peter Crocitto followed with a sacrifice fly to center, making it 3-0.
- Thomas threatened in the bottom half with the bases loaded and two-away but Tworek induced an inning ending groundout to first.
- The Night Hawks broke through in the sixth with four runs on two-outs to take a 4-3 advantage and remained in front until the eighth.
- Keiser's first three batters reached before a balk allowed a run to come across, tying the game at 4-4. Following a Gottsacker strikeout, Crocitto was intentionally walked to reload the bases.
- Drew Reilly then connected on a sacrifice fly to center, scoring VanKan, who had reached on a walk to retake a 5-4 lead.
- However, Thomas retied the game in the bottom half with a clutch two-out RBI single up the middle.

How it Happened
- Keiser claimed a 1-0 lead in the first on an RBI single from Gottsacker but Thomas responded with two runs in the bottom half to lead 2-1.
- The Seahawks loaded the bases in the third with nobody out but Carter escaped the jam with a pair of strikeouts and fly-out.
- Diaz put Keiser back on top in the fourth with a two-run home run, his first of the season, making it 3-2.
- However, the Night Hawks struck back in the bottom half with four runs, including three with two-outs, taking back the lead at 6-3.
- A leadoff home run by Crocitto, his third of the year, brought the Seahawks to within two in the top half of the fifth. Jonathan Fernandez then used clutch two-out hitting to bring in Reilly from second to trail 6-5.
- In the seventh, three straight Seahawk singles loaded the bases before pinch hitter, Garrett Hall, drew a game-tying walk. Keiser tacked on four more runs in the inning, highlighted by a two-run single from Gottsacker to lead 10-6.
- TU got a run back in the bottom half before the Seahawks added an insurance run in the ninth on a two-out RBI double from Reilly to lead 11-7.Â
- Thomas scratched across a run in the bottom half with two-outs but it was to little to late as KU came out on top, 11-8.
