The No. 1 Keiser women's soccer team blanked Rocky Mountain, 4-0 in the second round of the 2019 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship. With the victory, the Seahawks advance to the quarterfinal round of the National Tournament on Wednesday.

How it Happened
  • The Seahawks scored in the 20th minute as Filippa Millqvist lasered the ball into the back of the net from 35 yards out, off a back pass from Josefine Troneby.
  • Five minutes later, Larissa Weber doubled the lead with her fourth goal of the year off a centering pass from Troneby.
  • Keiser headed into the halftime break with a 2-0 lead, outshooting Rocky Mountain, 11-0.
  • Alicia Drott scored the only goals of the second half in the 79th and 84th minutes as Keiser won, 4-0. Assists were credited to Caroline Jensen and Maja Lundman.
 
Game Notes
  • With their victory, the Seahawks set the program record for most wins in a season (21).
  • This was the second straight year that Keiser pitched a shutout in the second round.
  • Nina Haeberlin set the program record for shutouts in a year with 13.
  • Haeberlin recorded her 24th career shutout, one shy of the program record.
  • Troneby finished with two assists for the Seahawks.
  • Benedikte Schroeder and Millqvist led the game with four shots apiece.
