The Seahawks fell to NAIA Division I, No. 3 Oklahoma City, 89-52 on day one of the Saints Halo Classic at Our Lady of the Lakes. The two teams were tied at the end of the first quarter before the Stars pulled away.
 
How it Happened
First Quarter: Keiser 18, OCU 18
  • Antigonie Sanabria opened the scoring with a jumper from the elbow but Oklahoma City responded with six straight points to lead 6-2 with 6:40 left.
  • Keiser came right back with eight unanswered points, highlighted by three-pointers from Daniela Barrios and Emily Patton, reclaiming a 10-6 advantage with 4:45 remaining.
  • The Stars responded with a 6-1 spurt, jumping back on top of the Seahawks, 12-11, with 2:50 to play.
  • The teams traded three leads while battling through two ties during the remainder of the quarter with the score standing at 18-18.
Second Quarter: Keiser 25, OCU 43
  • The Seahawks were outscored 25-7 during the second quarter, trailing 43-25 at the halftime break.
  • Patton accounted for four of Keiser's seven points in the frame.
 
Third Quarter: Keiser 36, OCU 64
  • Keiser tallied the first five points of the new half, getting to within, 43-30, with 8:00 showing on the scoreboard.
  • The Stars outscored Keiser, 21-6, taking a 64-36 lead into the fourth quarter.
