- The Seahawks remained in front until the 9:43 mark when the Tigers tied the game at 58-58 on an Alex Brooks mid-range jumper.
- The next three minutes favored the Seahawks despite three ties as the game was knotted at 64-64.
- A pair of Orlic free throws and a huge Gordon dunk off a turnover grew the Seahawks lead to 69-64 with 4:56 left in regulation.

- Keiser proceeded to turn the ball over with an offensive foul, but buckled down on the defensive end, forcing a long Voorhees possession which led to a turnover as well with Mabry coming up with a steal and was fouled with 29 seconds to play, heading to the line for two shots.
- Although Mabry came up empty on both attempts, the Seahawks were able to force a quick turnover and foul, resulting in two go-ahead free throws by Gordon to lead, 74-72 with just 20 ticks remaining on the clock.
- Keiser played excellent defense once again as the Tigers looked to tie or go in front. After missing a layup, Anderson corralled the loose ball, threw an outlet to Mabry, who then dished it ahead to Gordon for the game-clinching layup with just four seconds left.
- The Tigers desperation heave at the buzzer went awry and it wouldn't have mattered, as the Seahawks held on for the 76-72 victory
