Mark Gordon.

The Seahawks put up more than 80 points for the fifth straight game to start the season, and were aggressive offensively to get to the charity stripe early and often on their way to a third consecutive win.

How it Happened
First Half: Keiser 41, Webber 34
- The Seahawks took their first lead of the game about three minutes into the contest, as Malcolm Mabry connected on a triple, making it 6-3.
- Mabry's three sparked an 8-0 run, upping the advantage to 10-3 with 16:01 left in the half.
- A huge dunk by Gordon off a steal bumped the lead to double-digits for the first time, 19-9, with 12:18 on the clock.
- The Warriors got to within a single possession, 19-18, after running off eight unanswered points with 10:44 to play.
- Keiser responded swiftly with six consecutive free-throws, upping the lead to eight, 25-17 just past the half's midway mark.
- The Seahawks lead went back to double-digits with 6:29 on the clock, as Germele Florent's slam made it 34-24.
- 10 of the next 15 points in the game went to Webber, with a 5-0 Keiser spurt sandwiched between the runs with the score standing at, 39-34, in favor of the Seahawks.
- A Jimmy Sylvain fastbreak layup accounted for the half's final points, as the Seahawks held the 41-34 advantage.
Second Half: Keiser 85, Webber 77
- Keiser started the half on an 8-2 run, with all eight points coming from inside the paint as the margin swelled to 49-36 with 17:05 to play.
- The Seahawks established their largest lead of the game, 55-41, as the clock hit the 14:02 mark.
- A 10-2 Webber run brought the Warriors to within seven points, 58-51, with 11:08 remaining.
- Over the next two minutes, the teams went back and forth as WIU cut the margin to 64-58, at the 9:22 mark.Â
- Back-to-back layups from Marko Orlic and Gordon gave KU a double-digit lead once again, 68-58, with 8:43 still to play.
- Leading by seven, 74-67, as the clock reached five minutes, Jermar Perkins canned a trifecta to keep a ten point advantage.
- Webber got as close as six, 81-75, with 1:30 remaining but Anderson connected on a jumper in the paint.
- The Warriors were forced to play the foul if they wanted any hope in the game. However, Marco Orlic connected on his pair as the Seahawks won the Sun Conference opener, 85-77.

- 2: Keiser trailed on just two occasions, both coming in the game's opening minutes.
- 3: Keiser extended their winning streak to three games, while winning the last three matchups with Webber, after sweeping the two meetings in 2018-2019.
- 10-13: Orlic was the lone Seahawk with a double-double, his second of the season, collecting ten points and pulling down a game-high 13 rebounds.
- 11: Anderson was one of the four Seahawks in double-figure scoring, pouring in 11 points. Mabry also snagged 11 rebounds.
- 13-6: Ryan Kroll finished with 13 points to go along with a career-high six rebounds.
- 24-4: The win bumped Keiser's advantage in the all-time series with Webber to 24-4.
- 26-3-3: Gordon's team-high 26 points came on 8-of-16 from the floor and 10-of-13 from the free-throw line. He also led the Seahawks in assists (3) and blocks (3).
- 28-36: Keiser made their way to the free-throw line for 36 attempts, converting on 28 of them (77.8 percent).
- 32.4: Keiser's defense proved to be disruptive to the Warriors' offense, as Webber shot just 32.4 percent from the floor in the game. Â
