Keiser men's basketball picked up their third win of the season, pulling away from the University of the Virgin Islands in the second half. In the rematch of a game from Friday, November 8, the Seahawks produced a similar result to remain unbeaten in the all-time series with UVI at 6-0. Â

How it Happened
First Half: Keiser 45, UVI 42
- UVI was able to establish an early edge, but Keiser eventually took their first lead of the game, 9-8, after a three-pointer from Malcolm Mabry at the 15:34 mark.
- Mabry hit his second triple of the game not soon after, but UVI led 14-12 with 13:33 on the clock.
- Marko Radulovic entered the contest along with Perkins, and the two combined for a 9-0 KU run. The spurt was started by two three-pointers from Radulovic, then capped by a basket and the foul from Perkins in transition to make it 21-14 KU with 12:18 left in the half. Â
- With KU leading 26-24, the hosts began a 6-0 run to go in front 30-26. UVI's run however was halted by five consecutive points from Mabry, who hit his third three-pointer of the game and tipped in a miss to put KU back in front, 31-30, with 4:55 remaining.
- The teams went back-and-forth and were unable to gain any separation from one another, until KU turned a one-point deficit into a 42-38 Seahawk lead with a 5-0 spurt, capped off by Mabry's fourth triple of the game.
- After two UVI free-throws, Mabry continued his prolific first half with an emphatic dunk to go along with a foul, and he sank the free-throw to put KU in front 45-40 with 41 seconds to go.
- UVI had the final points of the half with a made jumper, but the Seahawks held the 45-42 lead at the break, led by Mabry's 21 points.
Second Half: Keiser 100, UVI 80
- The first six points of the half belonged to the Buccaneers, as UVI went in front 48-45. Keiser quickly began a 9-0 run, however, capped off by a three-pointer from Mark Gordon to make it 54-48 KU with 16:18 on the clock. Gordon had seven points during the stretch of play.
- A three-pointer drew UVI to within two points of the Seahawks, 56-54, with 15 minutes remaining, but back-to-back threes from Radulovic and Perkins with a UVI basket in between pushed KU back up by six, 62-56 with 14:17 to play.
- UVI answered with a three-pointer of their own to get back within a single possession, but Keiser's proceeding 8-0 run gave the Seahawks their first double-digit lead at 70-59, a run capped by a Perkins trifecta.at the 12:15 mark.
- Just as UVI got back to within a single-digit deficit at 72-63, the Seahawks widened their advantage with a game-changing 12-0 run to build a 84-63 lead with 6:44 to play. Keiser's defense clamped down and held the Buccaneers scoreless for 4:24, forcing four turnovers as well to get out in transition.
- The closest the Buccaneers would get from that point forward would be 14 points. With Keiser leading 87-73 with 3:42 left to play, the next nine points went to the Seahawks to establish their largest lead of the game, 96-73 with 2:03 on the clock.
- With KU leading 98-77, Marko Orlic earned a steal and dunk on the other end with 33 seconds remaining to bring Keiser to 100 points.
- The Buccaneers added a late three-pointer on their next possession as the clock winded down to account for the 100-80 result, as KU improved to 3-1 on the season.

- 4: In all four games this season, Keiser has held the advantage in the rebounding category. KU outrebounded UVI 37-33.
- 6: The Seahawks extended their lead in the all-time series with UVI to 6-0. Six players were in double-figures in scoring for Keiser.
- 7: Mabry's seven steals tied Keiser's all-time record for steals in a game.
- 10: The Seahawks drained a season-high ten three-pointers on 19 attempts (52.6%).
- 18: Perkins led the KU bench with 18 points, and added a game-high seven assists as well.

- 55.6: Keiser shot efficiently all game long, and finished 35-of-63 from the floor for a percentage of 55.6.
- 100: Keiser hit triple digits for the first time since January 28, 2018, a 114-74 win over Stratford.
