How it Happened
- Edward Waters nearly had their first lead of the series in the first with runners on second and third with nobody away, but Abreu settled down, retiring the next three batters.
- The Tigers broke through in the second with five runs to hand Keiser their first deficit of the 2019 season.
- The Seahawks got a pair of runs back in the bottom half, courtesy of a two-run homerun by Crocitto.
- EWC pushed across five unearned runs in the fourth before Jonathan Fernandez got a run back in the bottom half with an RBI single to left, scoring Gottsacker, who had reached on his second double of the game but KU trailed 10-3.
- In the fifth, Gottsacker plated a pair of runs on an RBI single to center and a two-run double to left by Miguel Casanueva brought Keiser to within 10-7.
- Edward Waters scored the final points of the game in the sixth on an RBI double, handing KU their first loss of the 2019, 12-7.
