How it Happened
- William Carey got on the board in the tenth minute as Jamie Holifield headed the ball into the back of the net off a cross by Silvia Leonessi.
- The Crusaders upped their advantage in the 25th minute as Holifield recorded her second goal of the game, beating the keeper one-on-one and slotting the ball to the far post.
- Keiser got a goal back in the 40th minute when Filippa Millqvist crossed the ball into the middle of the box, finding the foot of Maxi Krug, who beat the keeper to trail 2-1.
- Linnea Axengren's header in the 59th minute off a cross by Millqvist tied the Sun Conference Game of the Week at two-apiece.
- Ovenberger nearly scored the go-ahead goal in the 79th minute as her volley in front of the keeper was barely saved.
- The Seahawks thought they had won the game in the 90th minute as Ovenberger headed the ball into the back of the net off a cross by Krug, but the goal was overturned as the refs said the horn had already sounded.
- With Keiser pressing forward in the overtime period, the Crusaders broke out on a counter attack as Savanah Carter played the ball through the middle of the defense and Ana Paula Santos outran the Seahawks, lifting the Crusaders to the 3-2 victory.
