- Although KU failed to punch it in for a touchdown, Robinson converted a 20-yard field goal to get within 7-3 with 4:10 left in the first half.
- Neither team would put points on the board again as the game went into the halftime break with the Tigers holding a 7-3 edge.

- The momentum continued for Georgetown when running back Kyree Hawkins carried the ball three yards into the endzone, extending the margin to 21-3 with 6:39 left to play.Â
- After a three-and-out from both sides, Keiser showed they would not go quietly as explosive running back, Tyrese Lyons broke free for a 37-yard touchdown run. Following a blocked extra point attempt, the score stood at 21-9 with only 40 seconds remaining in the game.
- Just as it looked like the game was coming to a close, Seahawks linebacker Tommy Richemond recovered an onside kick by Robinson to give Keiser another scoring opportunity at the Georgetown 40-yard line.
- Quarterback Eli Mathews would not let the opportunity go to waste, hitting tight end, Jaylen Arnold on the second pass of the drive for an incredible 40-yard touchdown reception.Â
- However, the Seahawks missed their extra point to trail 21-15 with a mere 25 seconds remaining.
- Unfortunately for Keiser, lightning would not strike twice as Georgetown's Jonathan Stocking recovered the ensuing onside kick to effectively end the game.Â
