Set One
The opening set began with the lead swinging back-and-forth until Michigan-Dearborn tallied four consecutive points to lead 14-10. A Seward kill briefly halted the momentum before the Wolverines went on a 6-1 spurt, upping their advantage to 20-13.
Alyssa Robinson jump-started a mini-rally as KU pulled to within 21-18 but
the Wolverines battled through by claiming four of the final six points to take the opening set, 25-20.
Set Two
UMD held an early 8-5 advantage before the Seahawks used a
Jordan Odom kill and a pair of unforced errors to tie the set at eight apiece. Michigan-Dearborn quickly recovered, taking the next three points to lead 11-8, a lead they wouldn't relinquish. The Seahawks got as close as 17-16 but five consecutive points by the Wolverines upped the margin to 22-16. KU would go on to fall in the set 25-21 and trail 2-0 in the match.

Set Three
The Wolverines jumped out to a 9-3 advantage, but the Seahawks rallied by winning five of the next six points to close within 10-8. UMD came right back with a 4-1 run to widen their lead to 14-9 and didn't allow the Seahawks closer than two, 23-21. Nealy and Carlson then ended the match with back-to-back kills.

The Seahawks woes continue as KU were unable to defeat the Life University Running Eagles, dropping the match 3-1. Seward picked up their third double-double of the 2018 campaign, finishing with a team-high 12 kills and 13 digs.
Morgan Leff paced the Seahawks with 17 digs while
Stephanie Sanchez dished out 29 assists.

Set One
The set opened with five lead changes and neither team claiming an advantage greater than two before the set was tied at 10-10. Life then took control by using a 9-1 run to fuel a 25-15 victory and take a 1-0 lead.
Set Two
The second set began with three lead changes before the Running Eagles rattled off four straight points to take a 6-3 lead. The Seahawks battled back to tie the set at 11-11 but Life responded with a 6-2 run to reclaim a 17-13 advantage. Keiser got to within one on three occasions but was unable to get the tying point, dropping the set, 25-23.
Set Three
Keiser controlled the tempo out of the gates, establishing an early 5-1 lead and kept the advantage until Life tied the set at 16-16. However, the Seahawks maintained control by using a 5-2 run to reclaim a 21-18 lead. Life closed to within one, 21-20 but Keiser snagged four of the final six points to win the set, 25-22.
Set Four
The squads traded points before a Seward kill and back-to-back kills by
Lilyth Cornell gave the Seahawks a 5-3 advantage. Keiser upped the margin to a set-best three, 7-4, but LU responded with a 7-2 run jump back ahead, 11-9. The Seahawks equalized the score one last time, 12-12 before going on to fall in the set, 25-22.
