The Seahawks upped their lead to as many as seven, 23-16, and went on to win the set, 25-18.

Set Two
Pfeiffer held an early 7-1 advantage before an attack error started an 8-2 run for the Seahawks, tying the set at 9-9. Following three lead changes and the set tied at 15-15, Lilyth Cornell put down a big kill to start a 6-0 run giving Keiser a 21-15 lead. The Falcons got as close as 21-18 but KU took the set, 25-20 and led 2-0 in the match.

For the third straight time in the match, Pfeiffer took early control with an 8-1 advantage. The Seahawks later trailed 12-6 when Stephanie Sanchez recorded a pair of service aces to go along with a kill to close within 12-10. PU responded by taking four of the next five points to establish their largest lead of the set, 16-11. However, the Seahawks continued to battle and tied the set at 19-19, behind three kills from Seward.
