Game One
Keiser Highlights
- Marco Rivera broke the season record for doubles with his 21st of the year during the fifth inning, previously set by Keivan Berges during the 2015 season.
- All nine Seahawks had at least a hit in the opening game of the doubleheader with CJ Fitzpatrick and Ryan Gronlier having three hits apiece but none bigger than Grolier's game-winner in the tenth.
- Alec Lamrouex, who started yesterday's game, came out of the pen to receive his eighth win of the season. The senior threw 1.1 innings with a pair of strikeouts and allowing just one unearned run. Alex Alfonso picked up his second save of the year after slamming the door shut in the tenth.
Â
Turning Point
Gronlier wasted no time in the tenth, connecting on the first pitch he saw, driving it over the left field fence for the eventual game-winner. The Seahawks are now 1-1 on the year in extra-inning contests.
How it Happened
- Warner jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second behind a two-run blast before the Seahawks pushed across four runs on two hits in the fourth.
- Fitzpatrick drew a leadoff walk and moved to third on a double to left by Carlos Pena. Carlos Lopez was then walked to load the bases and Peter Crocitto was issued an RBI walk for the first Seahawk run.
- Gronlier followed with a two-run single to right center and Miguel Casanueva capped the scoring with a sacrifice fly to center, giving Keiser their first lead of the day, 4-3.
- The Royals quickly knotted the game in the bottom half with a two-out RBI single up the middle by Xavier Vasquez.
- However, the Seahawks jumped back ahead in the fifth on an RBI groundout to short by Pena and added another run in the sixth on a clutch two-out RBI single through the right side by Fitzpatrick to lead 6-4.
- In the eighth, a costly passed ball allowed a pair of Warner runners to score from second and third, tying the game at 6-6.
- The Seahawks then put runners on the corners with one away in the ninth when Faneyte scored the go-ahead run with an RBI single through the left side.
- With Warner's back against the wall in the bottom half with two outs and a runner on second, Troncosco delivered a key RBI single to left, equalizing the contest at seven.
- Lamrouex hit the next batter to put runners on first and second when Tinny laced a single right back up the middle but a perfect relay from Faneyte-to-Casanueva-to-Gronlier got the potential winning run at home, sending the game into extra innings.
- Gronlier wasted no-time in extras as he swung at the first pitch he saw, sending it over the left field fence for the eventual game-winner.

Game Two
Keiser Highlights
- The Seahawks pitching staff held Warner to just two hits in the second game led by Dylan Moore who improved to 5-1 after throwing six scoreless innings while holding Warner to just one hit.
- Chris Graffeo, Jake Voss, and Kenagy threw the final three scoreless innings.
- Faneyte had two of the Seahawks six hits in the second game of the doubleheader, while Crocitto recorded the lone run batted in.
Â
Turning Point
Colton Kenagy, who entered the game in the ninth with the Seahawks clinging to a 1-0 lead with runners on first and second with nobody out. The junior induced a line-out double play and fly out to earn his first save of the year.
How it Happened
- The teams combined for just four hits through the opening six innings as Faneyte had the lone extra-base hit.
- Keiser broke the scoreless game in the seventh with a sacrifice fly to center by Crocitto, plating Faneyte, who ripped his second double of the game with one out.
- Warner had their first two runners reach in the ninth when the Seahawks called on Kenagy to record the final three outs.
- Kenagy caught a comebacker and then doubled up Parks, who took off on contact. He then got the game-ending fly out to complete the three-game sweep of Warner.
