• The Seahawks snapped their two-game skid with their victory over No. 3 Missouri Valley this afternoon.
• Craig Marentette paced the offense with a game-best five goals, while freshman, Blain Wallace recorded his career first hat-trick.
• Eddie Grieco, Justin Flint, and Marentette finished with two assists apiece.
• Keiser finished with a five ground ball advantage with Christian Esquilin and Grieco each picking up five in the afternoon.
• On the defensive side, Channing Thomas and Nick Zito had two caused turnovers apiece.
• Anthony Bressi earned his first start in goal and made seven saves to pick up his first collegiate win. 

TURNING POINT
The Seahawks tallied the first three goals of the second quarter to turn a one-goal lead into a 6-2 advantage with 4:40 to play in the half.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After trading goals to open the game, Wallace and Flint found the back of the net to take a 3-1 advantage with 5:06 left.
• However, Missouri Valley netted the final goal of the quarter with 1:13 showing to get within one heading into the second.
• The Seahawks tallied the first three goals of the second frame before the Vikings again notched a goal under two minutes to trail 6-3 at the half.
• The team exchanged man-up goals before Marentette converted a man-down goal off a feed from Grieco to hold an 8-4 margin with 8:51 showing.
• MVU netted the next two goals to climb within two but Hunter East and Marentette found the back of the net to take a 10-6 lead into the final frame.
• The Vikings opened the scoring before Wallace netted back-to-back goals to make it 12-7 with 10:55 to play.
• Missouri Valley attempted a late rally by scoring three consecutive goals to pull within two at the 5:37 mark but East put the game to rest with the final tally at the 4:40 mark.
