Turning Point
After the Seahawks closed within three runs in the second, Dan Valerio's leadoff home run sparked a six-run third, extending the Southeastern advantage to 11-2.
How it Happened
- The Fire plated a pair of runs in the opening frame and tacked on three more in the second when the Seahawks answered with two runs in the bottom half to climb within 5-2.
- Pena reached on a one-out double and came in to score on a two-run home run to left off the bat of Carlos Lopez, his ninth homer of the year.
- However, Southeastern extended their lead in the third with six runs on four hits, including a pair of homers to push ahead 11-2.
- The Fire continued to add to their advantage, tacking on a run in the fourth, four in the fifth, and two more in the sixth, ballooning the margin to 18-2.
- The Seahawks scored the final five runs of the game, tallying a run in the sixth on a one-out RBI single to center by Jonathan Fernandez, and four runs in the seventh on a grand slam from Fitzpatrick, but the Fire came away with the game one victory in seven innings, 18-7.

Turning Point
With the game tied at 4-4 in the seventh, Valerio homered again, crushing a grand slam to left to highlight a seven-run inning, pushing SEU ahead 10-4.
How it Happened
- Southeastern jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the second when Karsten Sherman tied the game in the bottom half with a solo home run to left center.
- An inning later, the Fire reclaimed a 3-1 lead and held the advantage until the bottom of the fifth as the Seahawks scored three runs on three hits to jump ahead 4-3.
- After reaching on a leadoff double to right center, Lopez moved over to third on Fitzpatrick's groundout to second and scored the first run of the inning on Tivon Faneyte's sacrifice fly to right.
- Fernandez kept the inning alive with a double to left center and came in to score the tying run as Miguel Casanueva reached on a throwing error by the third baseman. Casanueva was awarded second on the throw as it soared out of play.
- Pena then reached as he lined a singled off of the pitcher, ricocheting out of reach of the SEU defense. Noticing that the ball got away, Pena took off for second, drawing a throw from the catcher. A bad throw allowed Casanueva to come in a score, breaking the deadlock, giving the Seahawks the 4-3 lead.
- However, Southeastern broke the game open in the seventh inning, scoring seven runs, highlighted by Valerio's grand slam to retake a 10-4 advantage.
- The Seahawks then got three runs back as Marco Rivera crushed a three-run homer to left center to climb within 10-7, but the Fire added four runs in the eighth, and four in the ninth to take game two, 18-7.
