How it Happened
- The Seahawks plated the first run of the game in the second after Rivera led off with a double down the left field line and later scored on a wild pitch.
- Ave Maria answered back in the bottom half with three straight one-out singles to tie the game and took their first lead of the series in the fourth, with a one-out solo home run.
- In the seventh, Rivera ripped his second leadoff double of the game and quickly advanced to third on a wild pitch. After the next two batters were retired via the strikeout, Fitzpatrick knotted the game with an RBI single.
- The Gyrenes walked the game off in the ninth when Soto connected on a leadoff home run, winning, 3-2.

- Alex Perez carried a no-hitter until the sixth inning when Ave Maria drilled a leadoff double to left center. Perez finished with two hits allowed while striking out three and walking just one batter.
- Rivera set the program record for home runs in a game with three. The junior finished 3-for-3 with two walks. He also moved into the team lead with nine.

Turning Point
The difference maker in game two of today's doubleheader would prove tough as the Seahawks got a brilliant start from Perez, while Rivera was dominating at the plate. Perez had a no-hitter through five innings before giving up his first hit of the contest on a leadoff double. On the flip side, Rivera went 3-for-3 with three home runs and two walks.

How it Happened
- For the second straight game, Rivera scored the first run of the game in the second, this time on a leadoff home run.
- Karsten Sherman followed with a one-out single and moved to third on a Carlos Pena double to left. Fitzpatrick then plated a run with an RBI groundout to short and Miguel Casanueva made it 3-0 with a run-scoring single.
- The Seahawks added a run in the third on a bases-loaded walk to Sherman and fourth run in the fourth on an RBI single from Justin Lara.
- In the fifth, Rivera connected on his second solo homer of the game and Pena brought in Carlos Lopez from second on a single up the middle to lead 7-0.
- The Gyrenes broke up Perez's no-hitter in the sixth with back-to-back doubles to start the frame. AMU went on to score three runs highlighted by a pair of RBI singles to get within 7-3.
- Rivera blasted his third solo shot of the game in the seventh to stretch the advantage to 8-3 and KU added four runs in the eighth.
- Keiser loaded the bases with one-out when pinch hitter, Zack Saldivar scored a run with a single to the pitcher and Sherman brought in a pair with a double to center, making it 11-3. Pena capped the scoring with an RBI groundout second, winning 12-3.
