Keiser trailed by one with 3:47 remaining in overtime when Southeastern used a 6-0 run to take an 81-75 advantage with 33 seconds showing on the clock.

How it Happened
- Following a Southeastern bucket to open the game, the Seahawks came right back with seven straight points to go in front, 7-2, with 17:18 showing.
- The Fire used an 11-2 run to reclaim a 13-9 lead but McClenton scored on back-to-back possession's to equalize the contest with 10:59 remaining in the half.
- SEU pushed their lead to four when a Trystan Pratapas three-pointer sparked a 10-2 spurt to put KU ahead 25-21 with 6:25 to go.
- Keiser maintained a one-possession advantage down the stretch despite five ties until Ryan Atkins converted a pair of free throws with 5.4 seconds remaining to take a 34-32 advantage into the half.
- McClenton tallied all seven of the opening second-half points to give Keiser a 39-38 advantage with 16:45 to go in regulation.
- After a pair of lead changes, McClenton connected on a jumper in the paint to push the advantage to 44-41 with 15:33 left.
- The next six minutes saw five lead changes and five ties with neither team going up by more than two before consecutive layups by Marco Orlic and McClenton gave the Seahawks a 63-59 lead at the 6:30 mark.
- Southeastern responded with nine consecutive points to regain a 69-63 advantage, when Marko Radulovic hit a runner in the paint and Sarenac nailed a step back, three-pointer to tie the game at 68-68 with 3:18 to go.
- A floater in the paint by Sarenac gave the Seahawks a two-point lead with 1:46 showing, before ?McClenton came up with a huge swat on the defensive end, leading to a KU timeout with 44.6 showing.
- CJ Reece drove to the basket with 16.3 remaining and converted his layup while being fouled by McClenton to tie the game. Reece stepped up to the line but missed the attempt.
- Goss and Matic had a pair of game-winning shots in the paint with under five seconds remaining but both were short, sending the game into overtime.
- Matic scored the opening basket of overtime when SEU answered with five unanswered points to regain a 75-72 advantage with 3:10 to go, leading to a Keiser timeout.
- The Seahawks closed to within one on an Orlic bucket, but the Fire rattled off six of the next seven points to lead 81-75 with 33 seconds to go.
- Sarenc hit a triple to climb to within three, 81-78, but SEU closed the game outscoring Keiser 6-2 to claim the 2018 Sun Conference championship, 87-80.
