How it Happened
- Florida Memorial scored the opening six points before baskets by Long and Trisic brought the Seahawks to within two, with 5:12 remaining in the opening quarter.
- The Lions went on to outscore Keiser, 9-4 and held a 16-10 advantage heading into the second frame.
- Four straight points by Long to start the period pulled KU to within 16-14, when the Lions went on a 9-4 spurt to take their largest lead of the half, 25-18, with 3:02 showing.
- Dyson and Long combined for the final six points of the half but Keiser trailed 27-22 at the intermission.
- FMU opened the half on an 8-0 run to lead 35-22 before Long connected on a runner in the paint while being fouled with 7:03 to go.
