Highlights
The Seahawks dropped their final regular season game to Ave Maria on Saturday afternoon by a final of 3-1.
Abbie Seward recorded her third 30+ kill match of the season, finishing with 30 on the afternoon. The sophomore also added 15 digs to complete the double-double.
Morgan Leff and
Stephanie Sanchez finished with 17 digs apiece while
Faryn Salazar had 50 assists.
Set One
Ave Maria jumped out to a 6-2 advantage before a Seward kill started a 6-0 run, capped by an
Eshe Malone kill to lead 7-6. After trading a pair of leads, the Gyrenes tallied three consecutive points to lead 13-11. Keiser continued to battle from behind until a Seward kill knotted the set at 23-23. However, AMU grabbed the final two points, winning, 25-23.

Set Two
Keiser led 4-2 until Ave Maria ran off seven of the next nine points to take a 9-5 advantage. With KU trailing 14-11, a Seward kill ignited a 5-0 run to go back in front, 16-14. However, a 7-2 run by the home team put the Seahawks in a 21-17 deficit. Â Keiser had one last run in them, climbing to within one, 23-22, dropped the final two points to trail 2-0 in the match.

Set Three
Ave Maria controlled the early portion of the set, leading by as many as seven, 13-6, before Keiser got going.
Mikayla Livingston put down a kill to jump-start a 10-0 run to give the Seahawks their first lead of the set, 16-13. After AMU tallied the next two points, Seward recorded a kill to begin a 5-0 run to lead 21-15. The Seahawks went on to take the set, 25-20 and get within 2-1 in the match.

Set Four
The Gyrenes led 16-8 before Keiser pieced together the next five points to trail by four. However, the Seahawks were unable to get any closer, falling 25-20 and dropping the match 3-1.

The Seahawks will travel to Coastal Georgia on Tuesday for the quarterfinal round of the Sun Conference tournament.
