The No. 4 Keiser women's soccer team shutout No. 13 Hastings 3-0 in the second round of the 2018 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship. With the victory, Keiser advances to the quarterfinal round of the National Tournament on Wednesday.

The Seahawks dominated their second round matchup, outshooting Hastings 16-6 and 10-2 on goal. In the opening half, KU used an 11-1 advantage to score a pair of goals.
How it Happened
- The first scoring chance belonged to the Seahawks in the eighth minute as Matilda Ovenberger's shot sailed just over the crossbar.
- Hastings was held without a shot until the 23rd minute when Rhiannon Castle de Ortega blasted her shot wide of net.
- Keiser broke through in the 35th minute as Ovenberger capitalized on a defensive miscue for her 30th goal of the season to lead 1-0. The freshman is now tied for the single season scoring record.
- Emma Bergsell made it 2-0 in the 43rd minute as she scored off a scramble in the middle of the box on a corner kick from Filippa Millqvist. The assist by Millqvist set the single season record with 21.
- Ovenberger nearly tallied her second goal of the game with 25 seconds remaining in the half but her shot to the near post was pushed away by the keeper.
- In the 73rd minute, Ovenberger took the ball away from the Broncos keeper and played it across the box to Alice Blixt, who blasted the ball into the top shelf to make it 3-0.
- Keiser's defense would continue their dominance, recording a program best 13th shutout of the year and seventh straight.

- With their victory this afternoon, Keiser ties the program record for most wins in a season with 18.
- KU set the program record for the most shutouts in a season with 13, surpassing the mark of 12 in 2012.
