Turning Point
Right after Keiser took a two-point lead on a CJ Fisher driving layup with 14:22 on the clock in half two, Thomas responded with an 8-0 run to make it 37-31, an advantage that would never be relinquished.

How it Happened
  • Thomas scored the game's first six points and extended their advantage to 10-2 in the opening four minutes of play.
  • The Seahawks were unable to get within a possession until Marko Orlic laid the ball in with 13:58 remaining in the opening half, down by three.
  • The lead was again pushed out to multiple possessions and kept there until CJ Fisher split a pair of free throws to trial 17-14 with 7:49 to go.
  • Keiser then turned up the defense and also scored the final six points of the opening half to go into the break down just one point in a low-scoring affair, 21-20.
  • A layup from Matic started the second half for the Seahawks to gain a 22-21 lead, but TU responded with a 7-0 spurt to go back in front, 28-22.
  • Matic made it all square at 29-29 with 14:55 on the clock, and then a hard drive and finish on the right side from Fisher put KU back in front, 31-29.
  • However, an 8-0 run from the Night Hawks swung the momentum as the hosts regained a 37-31 edge with 11:02 left in regulation.
  • Radulovic then connected on a three-pointer but Dexter Hood quickly matched the shot to keep the margin at six.
  • The Seahawks got as close as four, 44-40, as Radulovic canned two free-throws with 5:21 on the clock but the Night Hawks put the game away with seven unanswered points to lead by eleven with a little over three minutes to play.

Inside the Box Score
