  • Emma Holmskov nearly gave Keiser the lead in the 67th minute as her header went off the crossbar and Ovenberger's follow-up went just wide of the goal.
  • A phenomenal 40-yard free kick from Maxi Krug was barely saved in the 74th minute as the game remained deadlocked at one-apiece.
  • With 3:30 left in regulation, the nation's leading goal scorer, Kanu chested the ball down in the box, but her shot went off the crossbar and the Seahawks defense cleared it out of danger.
  • Neither team could find the back of the net as the contest went into the overtime period, tied at 1-1.

Coach's Corner
Head Coach Mat Dunn said, "We gave up a sloppy goal in the first two minutes tonight. Overall, happy with the result even though we gave up the early goal as we talked about that in practice coming into the game. However, we rebounded well and continued to battle all game. In the second half, we had two early chances that would have won the game for us but they didn't go in. Tonight was good advertisement for the conference as both teams are top five squads but have been under-ranked all season. Tonight, we were the more physical side and our team showed better endurance. We outlasted Southeastern and to be able to outshoot them on their home field was a big statement for us."
