Game Summary:
First Quarter Highlights:
- This battle between two in-state rivals certainly lived up to expectations, and here is how it unfolded…
- On the first drive of the game, Webber showcased their best offensive player in wide receiver, Timothy Miller, catching a 25-yard touchdown strike from quarterback Brady Ooten.  After a made extra point attempt, Webber led 7-0 with 9:45 remaining.
- The next big play came with 1:21 left in the quarter, when Keiser decided to go for it on 4th and 1 on their own 29-yard line, but were denied the first down.
- The Warriors wasted no time cashing in, as, on the very next play, Ooten again connected with Miller, this time for a 29-yard touchdown toss. Heading into the second quarter, the score was Webber 14, Keiser 0, with Keiser's offense having possession on Webber's 42-yard line.
Â
Second Quarter Highlights:
- The second play of the quarter featured a 40-yard touchdown pass from quarterback, Eli Mathews to wide receiver, Carlos Silencieux.  After a failed extra point attempt, the score was Weber 14, Keiser 6 with 14:21 remaining.
- With 3:16 left in the first half, Webber's offense had a 4th-and-goal on Keiser's one-yard line but decided to kick the field goal.  This proved to be a costly decision as Luckaad Dorsainvil blocked the kick, while DeAndre Henderson recovered the ball and took it 92-yards to the house. After a made extra point by Logan Robinson, the score was Webber 14, Keiser 13.
- After a three-and-out from Webber, the Seahawks offense had the ball on Webber's 36-yard line with one last chance to score before the end of the half.  Mathews threw a hail mary to the back of the end-zone, where it appeared that tight end, Jaylen Arnold may have come down with the ball. However, with such a large crowd of bodies in the end zone, the officials could not definitively rule that Arnold completed the catch and therefore ruled it an incomplete pass.
- After a spirited ending to the first half, the score remained Webber 14, Keiser 13.    Â
Â
Third Quarter Highlights:
- The third quarter was a stalemate, as neither team could get anything going on offense.
- Webber defensive end Dequan Harvin and Keiser linebacker Maurice Murphy Jr. were both active participants in the quarter-long defensive battle.
- Heading into the final 15 minutes, the score remained Webber 14, Keiser 13.
Â
Fourth Quarter Highlights:
- The fourth quarter began with safety, Troy Sloan intercepting a pass from Brady Ooten, giving the Seahawks the ball on their own 32-yard line with 14:38 to go.
- Mathews rewarded the effort of his defense by finding Silencieux on a seven-yard pass for their second touchdown connection of the day. The Seahawks opted to go for two as Mathews connected with Arnold to give, the Seahawks their first lead of the day, 21-14 with 10:19 to go.
- The following four drives resulted in punts (two from each team), which left the Warriors offense with possession on their own 32-yard line with 1:43 left in the quarter to try to score a touchdown.
- However, with the help of a fierce pass-rush from the defensive line, Kade Glenn snagged the game-winning interception.  Â
- After a thrilling contest, the final score would be Keiser University 21, No. 23 Webber International University 14.
