Highlights
The Seahawks returned to .500 on the season after soaring past Trinity College 3-0 on Thursday evening. Keiser only used their starters in the opening set before emptying their bench in the next two. For the first time this season, Abbie Seward did not lead the team in kills as Stephanie Sanchez finished with nine. Faryn Salazar passed for a game-best 21 assists while Morgan Leff had ten digs. KU had a 12 service aces in the match with Aleck Franks and Brooklyn VandeHei having four apiece.
 
How it Happened
Set One:
Trinity clung to an early 4-2 lead before a Seward kill sparked a 4-0 run to give the Seahawks a 6-4 advantage. After trading points, Keiser tallied the next nine points to take a commanding 15-6 lead, highlighted by four service aces from VandeHei. The Seahawks continued to cruise to a 25-12 victory and a 1-0 lead in the match.

Set Two:
With KU trailing 2-1, a Sanchez kill ignited an 8-0 run to put KU in front for the first time in the set, 9-2. Trinity got as close as 13-9 when KU grabbed the next seven points to claim their largest lead of the set, 20-9. Keiser continued their momentum down the stretch, winning 25-16 and taking a 2-0 lead on the Tigers.
 
Set Three:
The Tigers held a 3-2 lead until a Ryelle Cox kill jump-started a 6-0 spurt to put Keiser back in front, 8-3 and force Trinity into a timeout. Trinity cut the deficit to one, 9-8 but the Seahawks would continue to build on their lead and pull away late, winning 25-17 and completing the sweep.
