How it Happened
- Coastal Georgia scored the first 12 points of the game before Saunders laid the ball in with 6:09 showing.
- Following a Mariners bucket, the Seahawks went on a 7-0 run highlighted by five points from Saunders to get within 14-9, with 3:22 left in the opening quarter.
- However, CCG responded with a 7-0 run of their own to lead 21-9, before KU tallied the final six points of the quarter to trail 21-15.
- The Mariners outscored the Seahawks 30-12 during the second quarter and led 51-27 at the halftime break.
- In the third, Coastal Georgia narrowly outscored the Seahawks 27-23 to take a 78-50 advantage into the final quarter.
- After the Mariners hit a jumper to begin the fourth, an Aleksandra Trisic jumper and six straight points by Dyson closed the gap to 80-58 at the 6:44 mark.
- However, Keiser was unable to get any closer down the stretch and fell by the final of 95-70.
