Highlights
The Keiser volleyball team dropped their Sun Conference matchup against Webber on Saturday afternoon by a final of 3-0. The Seahawks ended the match with seven service aces including a match- best two from
Jordan Odom and
Amanda Medlock.
Faryn Salazar racked up a double-double with 18 assists and ten digs.
Set One
Webber raced out to a 4-0 advantage and forced the Seahawks into an early timeout. Following the stoppage, KU used a 3-1 spurt to get as close as 5-3. However, the Warriors responded with a 6-1 run, stretching the margin to 11-4. The Seahawks were unable to get any closer than five, 13-8 before going on to fall, 25-13.
Set Two
The Warriors held a 13-9 lead when a
Samantha Thompson kill sprung a 6-2 run by Keiser to tie the set at 15-15. Webber then settled down and rattled off the next three points, leading to a Seahawks timeout. KU came to within 19-18 but the Warriors prevailed, winning, 25-22.
Set Three
After the Seahawks won the opening point on a service ace by Salazer, the Warriors took control and won the set, 25-12.
