The No. 7 Keiser University Seahawks won their third consecutive home-opening match, taking down the Florida National Conquistadors 2-0 Thursday afternoon. With the victory, the Seahawks improved to 3-1 and will now prepare to face No. 10 William Carey.

The turning point occured when
Riley MacLeod scored her third goal of the season on a cross from the right side by
Filippa Millqvist, volleying the shot into the upper left corner.

How It Happened
- The Seahawks opened the scoring in the 24th minute when R, MacLeod scored off an assist from Millqvist, for the 1-0 lead.
- The score remained the same heading into the halftime break, with Keiser holding an 11-2 edge on shots.
- Kiera Heslam added an insurance goal in the 64th minute on a free kick from 30-yards out, to take a 2-0 advantage.
- Keiser had a pair of scoring opportunities in the 70th minute when Olivia White and Josefine Troneby's shots went off the crossbar.
- The Seahawks went on to outshoot the Conquistador 15-0 during the final 20 minutes to record their third shutout of the year.

- Keiser held a moment of silence for Coach Massimino prior to the start of the match. All members of the Seahawks wore black armbands in memory of Coach Mass.
- The Seahawks won their third consecutive home-opening match. Keiser last dropped a home-opener in 2014, when they fell to Davenport, 4-2.
- Millqvist has picked up at least a point in each of the four match on the year.
- Keiser took a season-high 36 shots while holding Florida National to just two.
