The No. 7 Seahawks fell to The Master's 3-2 in the Sun Conference Game of the Week. Keiser finished their California trip with a 1-1 record and will return to Florida for their match on Tuesday at Lynn University.
Turning Point
The turning point this afternoon occurred during the first five minutes of the second half of play. With the game tied at one, The Master's scored two quick goals in that span to take a 3-1 advantage.
How it Happened
- The Mustangs had the game's first scoring opportunity in the fifth minute when Lynnae George's shot went off the post, but the Seahawks defense was able to clear the ball. Â
- Tova Nilsson broke the deadlock in the 14th minute when she struck the ball from just outside the box into the upper corner, for a 1-0 advantage.
- However, The Master's tied the game in the 26th minute when the Seahawks were called for a foul in the box, setting up a penalty kick. Hailey Gomillon then stepped up and converted on the kick.
- Coming out of the half tied, the Master's struck just 1:03 into the period on a Jasime Parada goal from just inside the box, for a 2-1 advantage.
- Four minutes later, the Mustangs found the back of the net again, raising the margin to 3-1.
- Riley MacLeod got the Seahawks to within 3-2 at the 85th minute mark with her second goal of the season off an assist by Filippa Millqvist.
- The Seahawks had three more chances down the stretch to tie the game but were unable to convert.

Game Notes
- Millqvist recorded a point in the first two games of the season, and has recorded at least one point in seven straight games, dating back to last season and 13 of her last 14 contests.
- This was the first game between these two teams in school history.
- Kiera Heslam and Ebba Gustafsson led the way with a match high three shots.
- Elsa Netz made five saves in goal for the Seahawks.
