Berges maintained momentum from his last start against Southeastern, in which the Florida native struck out nine batters in eight innings of work. How it Happened
- The Knights scored first in the bottom of the first inning following a throwing error by Keiser third baseman, Jack Curtis.
- Berges then induced an inning-ending double play to hold Marian to just the one run.
- Keiser tied the game at one apiece in the top of the fourth inning as Carlos Pena doubled to left center field, plating Tyler Hitt from second.
- Berges held the Knights hitless after the first inning until Leo Lopez singled through the left side to kick off the bottom of the fifth.
- The Knights threatened to take the lead in the bottom of the sixth inning with runners on first and second with two away.
- Dylan Dore made a highlight-reel diving catch on the warning track to rob Jordan Jackson of a base hit to end the sixth inning, preserving the 1-1 tie.
- The tie was broken in the top of the eighth inning after Berges tripled to right center, plating Mundo who reached base with a double to deep right field, putting Keiser ahead 2-1.
- Keiser failed to add an insurance run in the inning as Tom Prospero was picked off at first, followed by Curtis' strike out to end the top of the inning.
- The Seahawks put the game away in the top of the ninth inning, scoring two runs on three hits and one Marian error.
- The first Keiser run of the inning came from Prospero scoring from third following a throwing error by the Knights catcher to place the Seahawks ahead, 3-1.
- The final run of the contest came off the bat of Olivero with a single up the middle to bring home Dore from second for the 4-1 lead.
- Berges came out to pitch the bottom of the ninth inning and got the job done, surrendering just one hit and securing the 4-1 victory for the Seahawks.
