Pregame Ceremony
Prior to the contest at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, Dr. Arthur Keiser threw out the ceremonial first pitch, sending the ball right down the middle of the plate for a strike. Following Dr. Keiser's first pitch strike, G-Star student Kaitlyn Casiano brought down the house with her performance of the National Anthem.

Keiser Highlights
  • Carlos Pena and Miguel Casanueva led the Seahawks in hitting with two hits apiece as Casanueva finished the game 2-2 with one walk and one run batted in.
  • Brad Myott finished the contest with two runs batted in to lead the Seahawks, with both runs coming off a double hit to the left center gap.
  • Keivan Berges pitched six and one-third innings, surrendering two runs, one of which was earned, while striking out seven batters.

Turning Point
Tyler Curtis' double to right center proved to be the turning point as the deep shot tied the contest at five apiece with Ceballos scoring from second. Curtis would later come around to represent the go-ahead run to lead the Fighting Knights to the 6-5 victory.

How it Happened
  • Pat Dorrian led the game off for NCAA DII Lynn with a single to left field on a 2-2 count.
  • Lynn was held scoreless following an inning-ending double play as Karl Ellison grounded out to Jack Curtis with runners on first and second.
  • Keiser received its first hit of the game via Carlos Pena who led off the bottom of the second inning with a single to left field.
  • Following a hit by pitch and a sacrifice bunt that moved Pena and Curtis over, Miguel Casanueva singled to right field to plate Pena from third for the first run of the ballgame.
  • Keiser was unable to bring home another run in the inning as Curtis was thrown out at home following a squeeze play from Gabby Mundo.
  • The Fighting Knights had a chance to score in the top of the third with Miguel Ceballos on third and two outs until Ellison harmlessly popped out in foul territory to end the scoring threat.
  • Keiser turned its second double play of the game in the top of the fourth inning as Jarren Pinkney grounded into a 6-3 double play after Lynn led off the inning with back-to-back singles.
  • Keivan Berges then set down Jon Corbitt swinging for the final out of the inning to keep the Fighting Knights off the scoreboard.
  • Keiser broke the game open in the bottom of the fifth inning with three runs on three hits to extend the Seahawk lead to 4-0.
  • The first two runs of the inning were provided by Brad Myott with a bases clearing double to deep left center field for the 3-0 lead.
  • Following a stolen base, Berges singled through the right side of the infield to bring home Myott from third for the four-run Keiser lead.
  • The Fighting Knights cut the Keiser lead in half in the top of the seventh when Willie Seay and Corbitt scored following a throwing error by Dore.
  • Keiser stretched its lead back to 5-2 in the bottom of the seventh as Pena singled to right field to bring home Tivon Faneyte from second.
  • Lynn scored two more runs in the top of the eighth to trim the Keiser lead to just 5-4, highlighted by Jake Rouse's double down the right field line to plate Ellison from first.
  • The Fighting Knights completed the comeback in the top of the ninth following a Tyler Curtis double to plate Ceballos from second for the game-tying run.
  • Curtis then provided Lynn with its first lead of the ballgame, scoring from third on a wild pitch by Miguel Castellanos for the 6-5 advantage.
  • The Seahawks were unable to plate the tying run in the bottom of the ninth despite having a runner on second with one out.
