Keiser Highlights

Turning Point
Keiser's four-run second inning proved to be the turning point in today's contest. The Seahawks entered the inning with a 2-0 lead, blowing the game wide open off five hits to stretch their lead to 6-0.

How it Happened
- After the first Webber batter reached on a throwing error by Gabby Mundo, Keivan Berges struck out the next three batters to end the top of the frame.
- Keiser quickly struck first in the bottom of the inning as Jack Curtis roped a single up the middle to plate Tyler Hitt and Brad Myott to claim the 2-0 advantage.
- The Seahawks stretched their lead to 6-0 in the bottom of the second inning, plating four runs on five hits.
- The first Keiser run of the bottom of the second came off the bat of Zack Saldivar, notching the fourth consecutive Seahawk single to open the inning, bringing home Dylan Dore from third.
- The Seahawks took the 4-0 lead after Berges was plunked in the back for the second consecutive at bat, bringing home Miguel Casanueva.
- Myott then plated two runs with a single to right field, continuing his tear of opposing pitchers as of late, stretching the Keiser lead to 6-0.
- The Seahawks were not done with the onslaught, scoring two more runs on two hits in the bottom of the third.
- Saldivar brought in the first run with a single to left field, his second consecutive RBI single to bring in Dore.
- Keiser claimed the 8-0 advantage on the next at bat as Berges lifted a sacrifice fly to right field, bringing in Casanueva from third.
- The Seahawks scored for the fourth consecutive inning as Carlos Pena led off the bottom of the fourth with a solo shot to left field, using a wooden bat, extending the Keiser lead to 9-0.
- Keiser pushed the lead to 10-0 in the bottom of the fifth inning following Myott's RBI single through the right side of the infield, plating Hitt from second.
- The Warriors avoided the shutout in the top of the seventh as Matt Piatt scored from third following a wild pitch by Johnathan Clarke.
- Webber plated two more runs in the top of the eighth inning to trim the Keiser lead to 10-3, scoring on four hits in the inning.
- Tivon Faneyte extended the Seahawks' lead back to nine with a two-run bomb over the left field fence for the 12-3 advantage.
