Turning Point
Keiser's three-run eighth inning proved to be the turning point in today's contest. The Seahawks trailed for much of the game as Keiser entered the eighth inning with a 7-4 deficit. The hole was quickly erased as Pena and Curtis combined for three runs produced, knotting the contest at seven apiece. The Seahawks would use the rally to later win the contest in extra innings.

How it Happened
- The Seahawks recorded the game's first hit in the top half of the second inning when Jack Curtis singled through the left side of the infield.
- After Brad Myott was hit by a pitch to put runners on first and second with one out, Dylan Dore and Tom Prospero flew out to end the Keiser scoring threat.
- The Seahawks jumped on the scoreboard first in the top of the third as Carlos Pena lifted a sacrifice fly to right field, plating Gabby Mundo for the 1-0 lead.
- The Keiser lead was short lived as the Gyrenes plated five runs on seven hits in the bottom of the third, chasing starting pitcher Keivan Berges from the contest.
- The Seahawks trimmed the Ave Maria lead to 5-2 when Mundo roped a bases-loaded single to left center, plating Dore from third.
- Keiser was unable to cut further into the lead as Tivon Faneyte struck out followed by a pop up by Berges to end the Seahawk threat.
- Ave Maria stretched its lead back to four as Miles Stevens plated Steven Valentine with an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning.
- The Seahawks clawed into the Gyrenes' lead in the top of the seventh inning as Tyler Goff laced a two-run single with the bases loaded to bring Keiser to within two runs.
- Keiser loaded the bases with one out looking for more runs in the top half of the seventh but could not deliver as back-to-back pop flies ended the inning.
- The Gyrenes extended their lead yet again, this time scoring one run on two hits and one Keiser error in the inning, stretching the lead back to 7-4.
- The dual was not done yet as Keiser scored three runs in the top of the eighth to tie the contest at seven apiece.
- The first run came off the bat of Carlos Pena with a one-run double down the left field line, plating Faneyte from third.
- Curtis knotted the contest at 7-7 on the very next at bat with a double down the right field line to bring home Miguel Casanueva and Berges.
- The Seahawks were unable to take the lead as Myott and Dore recorded the final two outs of the frame.
- Neither team plated the go-ahead run in the ninth inning, setting up Keiser's third extra-inning game in the last five contests.
- The tie was broken in the top of the 11th inning as Zack Saldivar singled up the middle with the bases juiced, plating Curtis from third.
- Myott tried to stretch the lead to two but was hosed down at home plate.
- The Seahawks only needed the one run as Clarke came in to pitch the bottom of the 11th inning, recording the save while punching out two of the four batters he faced.
