How it Happened
- Both squads were held scoreless until the bottom of the fourth inning when the Warriors struck first on Connor Clayton RBI double to right center to bring home Matt Piatt from first.
- Keiser had its first real chance to score in the top of the seventh inning with Dylan Dore on third and two outs.
- The Seahawks were unable to bring Dore home as Gabby Mundo grounded out to short to end the scoring threat.
- Keiser cashed in on its second opportunity in the very next inning when Tivon Faneyte doubled to right center to score Keivan Berges from second to knot the contest at 1-1.
- The Seahawks had runners on the corners with two outs in the top of the eighth when Dore harmlessly flew out to right field to end the Keiser half of the inning.
- Neither squad was able to plate the go-ahead run in the ninth inning, sending the contest into extras in game one of the three-game series.
- The Seahawks allowed a golden opportunity to sneak by in the top of the 10th as Tyler Goff struck out looking with the bases loaded and two outs.
- Keiser claimed the lead in the top of the 11th as Zack Saldivar provided the go-ahead runs with a two-out two-run double, plating both Berges and Tom Prospero for the 3-1 advantage.
- The Warriors cut into the two-run lead when Christian Rivera doubled to left center, bringing in Jacob Lopez from second to trim the Keiser lead to 3-2.
