Turning Point
The turning point in the contest came in the top of the 10th inning when Miguel Casanueva was thrown out trying to represent the go-ahead run. Casanueva was on third with one out before trying to score on Tom Prospero's grounder to the shortstop in which he was caught between third and home to end the scoring threat. The Bobcats would score the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th with a walk-off single to right field.
 
How it Happened
  • The Bobcats struck first in the bottom of the second inning when Kendrick Gutierrez laced a two-out two-run double for the early 2-0 advantage.
  • Brad Myott pulled the Seahawks to within one in the top of the fourth with a one-out solo bomb, his third homerun of the season.
  • Keiser tied the contest at two apiece three batters later when Zack Saldivar lifted a sacrifice fly to left field, plating Dylan Dore from third.
  • St. Thomas a chance to score in the bottom of the seventh with runners on second and third with one out.
  • However, Brandon Acevedo buckled down to get Orlando Rodriguez to pop up, followed by striking out Michael Centeno to end the threat.
  • The Seahawks took advantage of the Bobcats' missed opportunity, scoring two runs in the top of the eighth to take the late 4-2 advantage.
  • After drawing three straight walks, Keiser plated its third run of the contest when Dore reached on a fielder's choice to bring home Reyni Olivero from third.
  • Tom Prospero extended the Keiser lead to 4-2 after plating Miguel Casanueva from third following a sacrifice fly to left field.
  • St. Thomas quickly tied the contest at 4-4 in the bottom of the eighth, scoring two runs on two hits and one Keiser error.
  • Neither team was able to plate the go-ahead run in the ninth inning, forcing the contest into extra innings.
  • The Seahawks had a chance to score in the top of the 10th when CJ Fitzpatrick led the inning off with a double to right field.
  • The Keiser threat was ended when Casanueva was cut down between third and home trying to represent the go-ahead run.
  • The Bobcats plated the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th when Rodriguez singled to right field, plating Gutierrez from third for the 5-4 win.

Keiser returns to action when the Seahawks travel to Babson Park, Fla., to take on Webber in a three-game conference series beginning on Friday at 6 p.m. Keiser will complete the series with a doubleheader against the Warriors on Saturday beginning at noon.
