Match Summary
The No. 5 Keiser Women's Tennis squad picked up another signature win today, this time downing No. 10 Davenport by the final score of 9-0. The Seahawks picked up where they left off last match when they upset NCAA Division I Oakland, 5-2.
 
Doubles

• Doubles play started off with an 8-1 Keiser win for No. 20 Juliana Goncalves and Teodora Stanciu, besting Hannah Murphy and Bridget Barrett in the No. 3 doubles slot.
• The No. 9 doubles tandem of Megane Bianco and Julianna Heino followed suit, besting Puck Luttikhuis and Terin Everse from the No. 1 slot, 8-5.
• The closest match of the day proved to be the No. 2 doubles showdown as the team of Samantha Guy and Lorene Foerste went toe-to-toe with Adeline Nelson and Steph Ritson with the Keiser duo coming out on top, 9-7.

 
Singles

• Guy stretched the Seahawks' lead to 4-0 over the Panthers after defeating Everse in the No. 4 singles hole, 6-1, 6-4.
• Keiser clinched the match from the No. 3 singles position as No. 22 Goncalves cruised to the 6-3, 6-0 win over Nelson.
• With the match clinched, the Seahawks won the final four singles matches, including Bianco and Heino securing their eighth singles victory in dual play.

 
Coach's Corner
"I am very proud of the ladies today," declared head coach Daniel Finn. "We dominated a very good Davenport team. To be able to beat the No. 10 team in the nation, 9-0, says a lot about the amount of focus and intensity the girls played with today. This team has come a long way this season and is competing as a whole unit now. To me that's the biggest difference. The girls came out today and jumped all over Davenport and never let up till the end. We will enjoy this one for today but get right back to work tomorrow as the next matches are going to be tough as well."

The No. 5 Seahawks will host No. 3 SCAD-Savannah on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Oxbridge Academy with the regular season Sun Conference title on the line.
