KU HIGHLIGHTS
  • Craig Marentette scored a team-high five goals while racking up a game-high eight points.
  • Chad Strauss had a terrific game in the faceoff circle going 13-20 and picking up a game-high ten groundballs.
  • The Seahawks caused 16 turnovers on the afternoon and were nearly perfect on clear attempts going 27-28.
  • Jake Padden picked up his third win of the year in goal while making a season high 15 saves.

TURNING POINT
The turning point occurred in the first half when the Seahawks scored the game's first eight goals to take a commanding 8-0 advantage.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Keiser held SUNY-Delhi scoreless in the first quarter as the Seahawks jumped out to a 4-0 advantage behind goals by Eddie Grieco, Nolan Duncan, Marentette, and Lucas Muzzey. Jacob Bomberry racked up two assists in that stretch.
  • Marenttette scored two of the next four goals along with one from Bomberry and Muzzey to stretch the margin to 8-0. The Broncos broke through at the 6:44 mark of the second quarter but Grieco matched the goal to lead to 9-1.
  • Both teams traded a goal before the half as Keiser held a 10-3 lead.
  • The Seahawks scored the first four goals of the new half, led by a pair from Marentette to stretch the advantage to 14-3 with 5:27 remaining in the quarter.
  • The Broncos notched their first tally of the half at 2:37 mark but Bomberry scored 12 seconds later to lead 15-4, heading to the fourth.
  • After SUNY-Delhi scored the first two goals of the quarter, a Justin Stone man-up goal and Duncan goal made it 17-6.
  • However, The Broncos scored the final two goals of the game, but fell 17-8.
