Keiser Highlights
  • Gabby Mundo, Dylan Dore and Keivan Berges led the Keiser offense in the top of the order, accounting for six of the team's nine hits.
  • Dore finished the game batting 2-4 with a game-high four runs batted in.
  • Miguel Castellanos earned his second win in his third start, throwing six innings and allowing just two earned runs while striking out seven.
  • The Keiser bullpen closed the final three innings as Francisco Arias (making his season debut), Jeremy Graf and Brandon Acevedo held Thomas hitless.

Turning Point
Keiser scored three runs in the top of the third inning to claim the lead for good, 3-1. Dore roped a two-RBI single to claim the 2-1 advantage that would not be relinquished. Berges added an insurance run on the next at bat, bringing home Dore and an RBI double.

How it Happened
  • The Night Hawks jumped on the scoreboard first in the bottom of the second inning when Berlin hit an RBI single to bring Petrey home from second with one out in the inning.
  • Keiser rebounded in the top of the third inning, scoring three runs on four hits, beginning with Dore's one-out two-RBI single to bring Mundo and Prospero across the plate for the 2-1 lead.
  • After Dore stole second, Berges cranked an RBI double to bring Dore in to score and give Keiser the 3-1 advantage.
  • Thomas cut the deficit in half when Melo laced a solo shot with one out in the bottom of the third, his second home run of the series.
  • The Night Hawks had the chance to even the score with runners on first and second with one out in the bottom of the fourth but Castellanos slammed the door shut after back-to-back strikeouts ended the threat.
  • Neither squad crossed the plate for the next two innings until the Seahawks plated three runs on two hits in the top of the seventh to extend their lead to 6-2.
  • With two outs and runners on second and third in the top of the seventh, Dore plated Saldivar and Olive with another two-RBI single.
  • Berges brought Dore home from second after the senior outfielder stole second, stretching the Seahawks lead to 6-2.
  • The final Keiser run of the game came in the top of the eighth inning when Tom Prospero had an RBI ground out to shortstop, bringing Olive home from third.
  • Thomas could not muster another hit for the remainder of the game as the Seahawks closed out the series sweep with the 7-2 win.
