How it Happened

• Kelly Meade scored the first five points of the game as Keiser leaped out to an early 7-2 advantage with 7:49 on the clock.
• The Seahawks kept the game at a five point margin until the Bobcats went on a 6-0 run to claim their first lead of the game, 12-11, with 4:04 remaining in the opening quarter.
• After a pair of lead changes, STU led 19-15 heading into the second quarter of play.
• Keiser tied the game at 21-21 on a Dyson jumper but St. Thomas came right back with 11 unanswered to lead 32-21 with 4:39 to go.
• The Bobcats wouldn't allow the Seahawks any closer than eight before going into the halftime break leading KU, 40-31.
• St. Thomas stretched the margin to 55-37 at the 4:36 mark before a pair of free throws by Midori Long started a 7-2 spurt to get within 57-44 with 2:02 left.
• However, the Bobcats tallied the final five points of the quarter to hold a 62-44 advantage.
• In the fourth, the Seahawks were unable to trim the deficit by more than 13 before going onto fall in the contest, 73-56.
