Keiser Highlights
  • Kelly Meade netted a season and career-best 14 points on the afternoon including four from beyond the arc.
  • Midori Long also recorded double digits in scoring with ten points to go along with a team-best four rebounds.
  • Kelsi Ash and Caity Riley recorded two assists apiece for the Seahawks.  
 
Turning Point
The opening two and half minutes of the game proved to the difference as the Fire blitzed the Seahawks with nine quick points before Keiser got on the board.
 
How it Happened
  • Southeastern scored the game's first nine points before Meade connected on a three-pointer at the 7:38 mark.
  • The Fire continued to build on their advantage throughout the quarter and led 25-11 at the end of it.
  • Meade hit her second three-pointer of the game to open the second but SEU came right back with an 8-3 run to lead 35-14 with 4:55 to go.
  • Out of the media timeout, Riley nailed one from deep and Long hit a pair from the line to get within 35-20.
  • However, Southeastern tallied 12 of the final 15 points of the half to lead 47-23.
  • SEU used a 13-0 spurt to open the third quarter, upping the margin to 60-23 before Jhanai Felix hit a jumper with 7:22 to go.
  • The Fire went on to lead 89-35 at the end of the third and won by the final of 116-48.
