- After McClenton scored the opening basket of the contest, the Tigers answered with seven straight to take a 7-2 advantage with 15:10 showing.
- Keiser stayed within a possession until a Nygel Drury layup pushed Dakota Wesleyan ahead 15-11 with 10:36 on the clock.
- Following a McClenton dunk that cut the deficit to 15-13, the Tigers responded with an 8-0 spurt to widen their margin to 23-13 with 5:43 showing.
- However, McClenton tallied the next six points and a jumper by Marko Orlic trimmed the margin to 23-21 at the 3:21 mark.
