Turning Point
The turning point in this afternoon's contest came with 15 seconds remaining in double overtime when Ryan Lutz connected on a three-pointer to put Bethel in front 89-87.

How it Happened
- Keiser jumped out to an early 11-5 lead at the 14:20 mark behind five points from Marko Radulovic.
- The Pilots responded over the next three minutes with a 9-2 spurt to claim a 14-13 advantage with 11:11 on the clock.
- After a pair of lead changes, Bethel used a 17-4 stretch to push their lead all the way out to 33-19 with 4:36 remaining in the period.
- However, a Goss jumper sparked an 11-2 run to cut the deficit to 35-30 with just 30 seconds left in the half.
- Bethel responded by hitting a three-pointer to make it 38-30 with nine ticks showing but Radulovic matched the three with just two seconds left to trail 38-33 at the halftime break.
- The Seahawks stormed out of the locker room outscoring the Pilots 11-5, including the first six points from McClenton, to lead 44-43 with 17:06 showing and force Bethel into a timeout.
- The Pilots answered out of the huddle with four triples, including three in a row from Lutz to widen their margin to 55-46 at the 14:54 mark.
- The Seahawks answered with a massive 10-0 run that turned into a 23-5 spurt to reclaim a 69-60 advantage with 7:45 to play.
- Bethel continued to chip away at their deficit eventually knotting the contest at 76-76 with 2:15 left in regulation.
- After both teams traded baskets, Goss made a huge defensive stop with 33 ticks remaining to give KU the ball with contest tied 78-78.
- Out of a Keiser timeout, Goss put up a final-second effort to win it, but the shot bounced off the iron, sending the game to overtime.
- After the Pilots scored the opening basket of overtime, McClenton knocked down two clutch free-throws to level things up at 80-apiece with 2:04 to play.
- A minute later, Bethel jumped out in front 83-80 on Lutz' sixth triple of the contest with 59 seconds remaining in the first overtime.
- On the ensuing possession, Marko Orlic responded with a triple from the top with 31 seconds on the clock.
- Bethel had the final possession of the period but failed to connect on their jumper, forcing the game into a second overtime period.
- Again, Bethel opened the period with a three-pointer to gain an 86-83 advantage with 3:28 remaining.
- Orlic then connected on a layup to shrink the margin to 86-85 at the 2:15 mark and a Pratapas layup with 27 seconds to go put KU ahead 87-86.
- However, Lutz connected on his eighth triple of the afternoon to put Bethel back in front for good, 89-87 with 15 seconds remaining.
- The Pilots were then able to seal the game with a pair of free throws with just five seconds left.
