Set One
A five-point swing for Florida Memorial early on set the tone as it put them ahead 7-4. Keiser responded by taking five of the next eight points to get within a point at 10-9 but failed to tie things up. Trailing 24-19 down the stretch, the Seahawks capitalized on two Lions attack errors and kills from Rasheena Mansel and Medlock to get the score to 24-22. Following a Lions timeout, Florida Memorial took the final point to take the set 25-22.

Set Two
The Seahawks jumped out to an early lead and controlled early on as both teams battled to gain momentum in the set. Tied at six, Keiser went on a 5-1 run to jump out 11-7 forcing the Lions to take a timeout. Out of the break, however, Florida Memorial responded with a 5-0 run of their own to take their first lead of the set at 12-11. With both teams tied at 16, the Seahawks rallied for four straight, forcing the Lions to take a timeout as the Seahawks led 20-16. Out of the timeout, the Lions took nine of the next twelve points, roaring back to take the set 25-23.

Set Three
The Lions controlled the set early, jumping out to a 6-2 lead before pushing ahead by as many as nine leading 21-12. The Seahawks tried to get back in it, but were unsuccessful as the closest they got down the stretch was 23-17 before dropping the final two points to lose the set.
